Brooklyn, New York - Brooklyn Effects(TM), a New York-based special effects company, has announced the release of 3 new color grading plugins for the popular Final Cut Pro X (TM) non-linear editing software. Soho Grades, Bronx Grades, and Coney Grades each provide a unique film style that reflect their area of New York.

"Our Empire Grades package was designed to create subtle tone, color, and mood changes in FCPX," said Jean Moore, CEO and Owner of Brooklyn Effects. "Our three new packs are made to create distinct filmic styles. I am really proud of how we captured the spirit of each neighborhood with these products."

SoHo Grades, named after the fashion and art district of New York, can give a film an instant photo look. Users can apply any of the 50 customizable presets to their footage in FCPX to create the look of self-developing film. Then, they can use the provided controls and add-on tools to adjust the subtleties. SoHo Grades includes border, film grain and selective focus tools.

Next, Bronx Grades allows Final Cut Pro X editors to get their film ready for the big screen with 50 cinematic looks for Final Cut Pro X. From indie flicks to blockbuster films, Bronx Grades can give users' footage any cinematic look they want. They simply have to drag and drop any preset onto their clip, and then adjust the look using the simple tool panel provided in the FCPX Inspector window.

Finally, the Coney Grades pack was designed to transport film back to the heyday of the Coney Island theme park with vintage color grade presets for Final Cut Pro X. Filmmakers can apply any of the 50 Coney Grade preset to their footage, and then adjust the subtleties using the simplified tool panel provided. This pack comes with a film grain tool.
