The upcoming Ancient Surfer 2 is full of new characters: three new male characters and three female characters, plus the original ancient surfer, Rick, for a total of seven characters to choose. These six characters heard of the legendary surfer, Rick, and decided to join him for good times in the ancient world. Now, the best surfers in the world have united to take on the greatest surf sports. Players can also strengthen their surfer by collecting the coins & artifacts hovering over the water.

Okinawa, Japan - SummerTimeStudio, the Okinawa-based smartphone, tablet, and VR hardware game designer, would like to introduce the characters in the upcoming release of its 14th title, 'Ancient Surfer 2.'

Ancient Surfer hit beaches across the land with praise, and shortly after, the rebirth began. No longer will anyone be confined to just one character as there are now three new male characters as well as three female characters. These six characters heard of the legendary surfer, Rick, and decided to join him for good times in the ancient world. Now, the best surfers in the world have united to take on the greatest surf sports of all-time. Some spots have even gone beyond the realm of this reality to other worldly surf delights.

Six New Characters
Who will be your favorite? Aside from the legendary Rick, there are six new characters to choose from. Check out each character's profile to see who is best for you!

* Rick
The legendary surfer Rick is back and ready for more action, all the while sporting a look cooler than before. Rick is the only surfer to champion the seven seas of the ancient world. He couldn't be happier to see his fellow brothers & sisters.

* Maria
Maria's parents are famous Olympic long distance running coaches. As the only one in her family to pick up a board, she can swim farther than the rest of her family. She one day hopes to swim farther than everybody else. Maria has a wonderful personality and loves shortboards and longboards.

* Carl
Although Carl loves to train, he seriously took up surfing only a year ago. When relaxing, Carl loves to swim with dolphins. Being a speed freak, he loves shortboards.

* Linda
Making a living as a treasure hunter, Linda heard of Surf Island a year ago. That's when she gained surfing abilities at an exponential rate. No matter the board, Linda shows off her skills.

* Jake
Jake is a pro surfer who has come to the island looking for the perfect coconuts. He uses them every day in his cooking. Jake loves bodyboards and shortboards.

* Kate
Kate is a professional model who took up the cause of beach cleaning. She loves the ocean: It is her source of power. Kate prefers shortboards.

* Andy
Andy is the most trained surfer in the world. He has been looking to surf in the Ancient World. Andy has surfed all over the globe: It's all that's on his mind. He can use any board anytime.

Strengthening Your Surfer!
There are two ways to strengthen your surfer: Upgrade what you have; Buy better items. Each character and stage has certain items which fit better than others. As you move through the stages, upgrades will become a necessity, so collect the coins and artifacts hovering over the water to buy better items. Don't forget to check each character and stage to determine what the best fit is for you.
