Analogue 1.0 for iPhone Will Improve a Photographer's Eye - Published on 01/19/16

Indie developer, Marcus Carlsson announces Analogue for iOS devices. Analogue aims to let mobile photographers improve their images by slowing down the photographic process. Analogue will simulate a Large-Format camera which is only manual and the viewfinder will be upside-down. Furthermore the photographer will develop the image in an old darkroom, where by learning to find the best strip to decide exposure and contrast will enhance the end result and the photographic sense.

Jonkoping, Sweden - Independent developer, Marcus Carlsson is proud to announce the release of Analogue 1.0, his photography app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. By slowing down the photographic process, by imitating the large format camera (where the image is upside-down), the photographer will spend time and actually think of how to adjust all parameters in order to take a good photo.

To enhance the image fully, Analogue also simulates a real darkroom, with strips to find time and contrast. And, it's in the darkroom Analogue really shows its true power and joy to the user. Analogue is the first app where the photographer truly go analog, both with the camera and by using a real darkroom.
