Lake Dallas, Texas - GeekSuit today is proud to announce the start of open beta testing for Client Folder Maker 4.5, an important update to their popular folder creation and management utility for Mac OS X. Client Folder Maker allows users to set up a hierarchy of folders once, then instantly re-create that hierarchy anywhere in the filesystem with merely a few clicks of the mouse. Version 4.5 is ready for beta testing, and GeekSuit is offering users the chance to beta test the new version of the app before it hits the Mac App Store.

Client Folder Maker offers a simple to use folder creation and management tool, perfect for the busy web developer, graphic designer, app developer, desktop publisher, or prepress operator. Easily invoke any preset via a Menu Item, keyboard shortcut, the Services Menu or with a handy Finder Extension. Users simply enter the Client or Project Name, the Job or Version Number, and click the "Create Folder" button. Instantly, a new folder hierarchy is created, based on the entered information, and the custom hierarchy that was selected.

Client Folder Maker doesn't stop there. Users can also designate content to be auto-imported from existing source files. This feature easily copies content from any text file into the newly created files in the new folders. It is prefect for users who find themselves using the same base content in their projects, such as custom HTML markup, jQuery, CSS files, and more.

"Client Folder Maker has long been the solution for any Mac user who provides a service and creates new job folders for their clients," explained GeekSuit CEO Ray Barber. "With version 4.5 of the app, we've added the ability to drag-and-drop entire folder hierarchies to create new presets, users can now lock their preset to prevent changes or deletion, and even a new "copy to ..." function that allows moving document file types into a new preset."

Features:
* User-defined keyboard shortcut
* Colored labels
* Custom folder views
* Auto-incrementing variables
* Import/export settings via drag/drop
* Preset descriptions
* Custom permissions
* File content copying
* Stays out of the way
* Can be invoked via Contextual Menu (Finder Extension), Menu Item, Keyboard shortcut or Services Menu
* Limitless Customization
* Zero Footprint

The hidden gem in CFM is its limitless customization of tag variables, so the possibilities for personal customization are endless. Despite its namesake, Client Folder Maker's default presets aren't limited to simply a "client name" or a "job number." As long as the chosen words or phrases are surrounded in braces, you can create and use any tags you wish.

Mac users who are running Mac OS X 10.8 or later on their machine are invited to participate in the Client Folder Maker 4.5 beta at the MacDeveloper website. Users simply need visit the website and login, if they're already registered as a user, or become a tester by filling out a simple form. Once registered and logged in, users can apply to beta test Client Folder 4.5.
