Bouwoltt Releases Football Faceoff - A Football Quiz App - Published on 02/01/16
Stockholm based developer, Bouwoltt HB today introduces Football Faceoff 1.0.1, their new intelligent, social and entertaining game developed for iOS devices. Football Faceoff puts your knowledge about football to the ultimate test with a quiz including more than 7,000 questions spread out between 19 categories. This game allows you to compete against your friends and people from around the world, as well as track your progress and climb the FOFA World Ranking.
Stockholm, Sweden - Bouwoltt brings you their first official app, Football Faceoff, a football quiz app that offers you the possibility to challenge a friend or play against a random opponent. Each game is played in six rounds, where every round consists of three questions, and you take turns choosing categories. Make sure you choose your categories carefully so that you get an edge over your opponent.
Mauritz Hansson, co-founder of Football Faceoff, says that "...the true essence of the sport lies not only in the game itself but in the passion of the supporters, which separates, but still unites us in the love for this beautiful game and the global, cultural community that we share [...], which we hope will impregnate our product that is made for you and your friends."
This is evident as Football Faceoff does not just cover everything from early football history to today's modern top flight football in the major leagues, as well as continental and worldwide tournaments such as the European Championship, Champions League and the World Cup, but also deals with the culture of the sport, the supporters, and everything surrounding the game that makes it what it is today.
An essential part of Football Faceoff is that you as a user can contribute with your own questions to the game and make it even better. Similarly, the social aspect of the game is emphasised where you can invite your friends to play through social media and SMS and brag about your wins by posting the result on Facebook and Twitter. The premium version of the app gives you more insight; with access to in-depth statistics of your performance as well as head-to-head statistics against your friends. On top of that, the premium version unveils your FOFA World Ranking.

Pricing and Availability:
Available today, the Football Faceoff 1.0.1 is free to download in the UK and charged 2.29 GBP for the premium version, and is priced accordingly in other regions. The app is now available in English speaking countries and a few other selected markets, but will shortly be translated and launched worldwide. To avoid confusion, it should be mentioned that the app in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand is named Soccer Faceoff.
