8BitGiant announced the release of their latest game Chompee, available for free on iOS and Android. In this fast-paced survival game, Wilson The Bunny is all alone. His only goal is to avoid being eaten by Chompee The Monster. Players control Wilson by dragging him around the screen away from Chompee. Land mines randomly appear all over the map to slow Wilson down (and enrage Chompee). The longer Wilson stays alive, the more points the player receives.

Fountain Valley, California - In this fast-paced survival game, Wilson The Bunny is all alone and his only goal is to avoid being eaten by Chompee The Monster. Players control Wilson by dragging him around the screen away from Chompee. As if that was not hard enough, land mines randomly appear all over the map to slow Wilson down (and enrage Chompee). The longer Wilson stays alive, the more points the player receives.

Chompee was created in less than a week after a few friends from Southern California got together one weekend and decided to make a game. When asked what their motivation was in creating a game in such a short timeframe, their collective responses all pointed toward one thing: money.

"I need to pay off my student loans and buy a diamond ring" - Alanis Nguyen, boss-lady. "I need to pay off my wife's student loans and buy her a diamond ring." - Ngoan Nguyen, developer and husband of the boss-lady. "My only goal is to make $50,000 a day so I can buy hookers and blow." - Thi Nguyen, assistant lead developer. "I have 3 kids and they eat a lot, so please download and play my game" - Shaun LaBrie, lead assistant art director.
