The CPUG Network has announced the Seventh Annual Amsterdam SuperMeet, to take place Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the Hotel Krasnapolsky in the heart of Amsterdam. Film Editors, Maryann Brandon, ACE and Mary Jo Markey, ACE, who are currently editing "Star Wars: Episode VII," will be the featured guests. The full agenda will not be announced until shortly before the event date. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the SuperMeet web site.

Los Angeles CA/Boston MA - The Creative Pro User Group Network (CPUG Network) have announced the Seventh Annual Amsterdam SuperMeet, to take place on Sunday, Sept 14, 2014 at the Hotel Krasnapolsky in the heart of Amsterdam. Doors open at 4:30PM (16:30) with the SuperMeet Digital Showcase featuring 20 software and hardware developers. SuperMeet Presentations will begin at 7:00PM (19:00) and continue until 11:00PM (23:00). Tickets are on sale online for the earlybird price of Euro10.00 each plus ticket fee and Euro10.00 for students and Teachers with valid ID. Earlybird sales end August 15, 2014.

Film editors Maryann Brandon, ACE and Mary Jo Markey, ACE are scheduled to appear. Both Ms. Brandon and Ms. Markey are best known as long time collaborators with director J. J. Abrams. The pair has co-edited all of Abrams' feature films including MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE III, SUPER 8 and 2009's STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS. Their latest collaboration with Abrams is STAR WARS: EPISODE VII, currently shooting in London.

The full agenda will not be announced until shortly before the event date, however the producers have stated that there will be USER driven presentations by Blackmagic Design, Adobe, iZotope, Atomos and HP.

Rounding out the evening will be the always wild and fun "World Famous Raffle," where over Euro20,000 worth of valuable filmmaker-related prizes, including a Blackmagic Production Camera 4K, will be handed out to dozens of lucky winners.

Doors will open at 4:30PM (16:30) with the SuperMeet Digital Showcase featuring 20 software and hardware developers including Adobe, Blackmagic Design, iZotope, Atomos, HP, Audio Network, G-Tech, Media Machine, The Future Store, B&H, Boris FX, GenArts, FCPWORKS, SAE Institute, Red Giant Software, Flanders Scientific, K-Tek, Light Iron, Lumberjack Systems and others. Here, attendees can enjoy a few cocktails, mingle and party with industry peers, network one on one with leading manufacturers and learn about the latest trends in collaborative editing workflows for post production and broadcast markets.

Tickets are on sale for the "Earlybird" price of only Euro10.00 each (Earlybird tickets expire August 15) for Adults and Euro10.00 for students and Teachers and are on sale online only. It will be Euro20.00 each at the door. Food (snacks) and drinks will be available throughout the evening.
