All editions of DEVONagent 3.8.3 add support for the DuckDuckGo web search engine. DuckDuckGo claims to honor users' privacy and deliver unbiased and uncluttered search results
A new preference option in DEVONagent Pro and Express stops search runs from the menu extra as soon as the user opens the first results. The new version comes with updated Macintosh News search sets as well as an overhauled Facebook Profiles plugin. For results without proper date information DEVONagent searches their plain text for usable dates. DEVONagent Pro also enhances its VoiceOver support. All editions are also faster and more reliable.
DEVONsphere Express 1.8.2 retrieves Finder comments and handles damaged file systems better. It also imports damaged or incompatible Word documents differently. These files could otherwise bloat the index and increase memory usage. The update fixes minor issues, too.
