Ancient Rome - 3D Spartan Gladiator Attack Run - Published on 05/08/14
UK based Imaginate Games today introduces Ancient Rome 1.0, its new game title for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Ancient Rome is a 3D runner game where the player controls the lead soldier of an advancing Spartan army backed by a dark driving soundtrack. This is a perfect game for fans of Temple Run and Subway Surfers as the game has similar swipe controls. Fine precision is required to keep moving forward manoeuvring around arches, chariots and soldiers blocking your way.
Edinburgh, United Kingdom - Imaginate Games today is proud to announce that Ancient Rome is now available from the App Store on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. In Ancient Rome, players must lead the advancing Spartan Army battling against Rome. This is an ideal game for fans the Gladiator and The 300 Movies taking a similar period style. Using swipe controls guide the character onwards over an increasingly challenging set of obstacles.
Expect to dodge and duck through arches and bridges. Avoid Roman chariots and shields. These will become simple obstacles if the player can master the often fatal boulder attack. The player can collect gold coins as play progresses which can be used to buy in game items. After each play this is added to the players account. Coins can be used to buy the following upgrades:
* Coin Magnet - Collect even more coins
* War Horse - Mount up for a short period of time
* Big Bite - Double coins collected
* Shield - Protect from Roman soldier attack
Upgrades will appear in the game to collect at appropriate times creating a memorable gaming experience for the player. Players stats are collected after each game so you can track score, distance and coins. The score is posted to the game leaderboard to compete with players worldwide.
