To use Instaframe, users choose pictures from their camera roll or can take a picture using their device's camera. Users can choose between 1 and 6 photos to work with. After selecting their photos, the user selects from the wide variety of unique and adjustable layouts to create amazing frames and one-of-a-kind collages. Photos can be customized in traditional formats as well as creative formats, such as hearts, stars, swirls, and many more. Users immediately see previews of all their photo editing choices.

Instaframe makes it easy for users to adjust their photo placement. By a simple swipe or pinch of their fingers, users can quickly zoom, pan, and change the positioning of their photos. Tapping each individual photo of a collage provides four options for customizing the picture. Users have a choice of mirroring or rotating the photo, changing the location of the photo within the collage, replacing the photo, or applying artistic effects. With a simple swipe, Instaframe also allows users change the size of individual pictures, the sizing of the collage as a whole, and to round frame corners.

Instaframe provides a wealth of additional options to enhance photos. More than 30 colorful, cartoon stickers can be added to photos. Backgrounds with over 40 different colors and patterns can be added to both the text and the photo layouts. Users also have the choice of adding text in a variety of fonts, colors, and effects. Additionally, Instaframe has over 20 creative borders that can be applied. All photo enhancements can be positioned, resized, and manipulated to the user's specifications, just like any image.

Once the user has completely customized their photos, they can share the images to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, iMessage, and other social media. Photos can also be posted to Email and saved to their Camera Roll album.
